Tredegar Percussion Team Up With Premier Percussion

Tredegar Town Band is very pleased to announce that the band’s percussion section is supported by Premier Percussion, a worldwide provider of quality orchestral percussion and drum kits. The percussion section at Tredegar joins a long and distinguished list of Percussionists associated with the Premier brand and also has the honour of being the first brass band Percussionists to partner with the company.

Principal Percussionist Steve Barnett expressed his delight at the partnership. “We are extremely pleased and privileged to have the opportunity to team up with such an iconic British brand. We feel that both Tredegar Band and Premier are forward thinking organisations, committed to high standards and professional progression and will complement each other perfectly. We look forward to working with this historic company over the coming years.”

The band will also be supported by local Premier retailers, Ev-Entz of Newport and look forward to working with this organisation.

This new partnership is the next step in the bands continued progression under MD Ian Porthouse to constantly develop the bands musical standards and professional outlook.
