Tredegar Town Band have ambitious plans for the future. We aim to perform at more of the major concert venues to an even wider audience and challenge at the highest level by attending top brass band contests in the UK and overseas. We would also like to devote more time to providing brass workshops for young people in the community and to work with other local brass bands.

From our excellent contest successes and our acclaimed concert performances we have proven that we are an ensemble of high quality and are currently ranked 8^th in the international banding movement.

Tredegar Town Band has always largely remained self funded and is one of the few top ten bands who do not currently have sponsorship. Money in the past has been raised through concerts, members contributions and fund-raising events. We do recognise however, that in order to progress further we need financial help.

International Brand Awareness

Top bands such as Tredegar attract considerable attention from the many prestigious contests they attend such as The National Championships at The Royal Albert Hall, All Englands International Masters at Kettering, The British Open at Symphony Hall, Birmingham and the European Brass Band Championships which takes place in a different country within Europe every year.

Mobile Source of Professional Music Making

Tredegar Town Band can be available to promote their sponsor at a variety of functions and venues across the UK and overseas from corporate conventions to product launches, employee events to fanfare introductions. As well as the full band, Tredegar can field smaller ensembles to cater to your needs.

Brass bands are renowned for their concerts and are a forward-thinking, energetic group of talented musicians who are dedicated to making music of a high standard, always striving to improve and develop.

Different Areas of Sponsorship

Whilst the Band are looking for a main sponsor, there are other areas where potential sponsors may wish to be involved:

Concert Sponsorship: Where free tickets and corporate hospitality can be arranged, together with programme, ticket and presentation advertising.

Sponsor a CD Recording: The cost of recording a CD would be sponsored, with the CD showing sponsorship advertising and the sponsor naming the recording and/or choosing a part-selection of programme pieces

Bandroom Sponsorship: Would be used to maintain the bandroom and contribute towards its running costs.

Transport Sponsorship: Sponsor a coach to transport the band to contests and concerts and receive advertising acknowledgements displayed on the vehicle

Overseas Tour Sponsorship: Help towards the cost of an overseas tour, with special events/concerts being given at sponsors facilities, etc.
