Despite the results both the band and Ian Porthouse, (MD) left Yeovil feeling very pleased that they had given a quality performance from an early draw. Many congratulations from all at Tredegar to Steve Barnsley, the band’s soprano player who was award the Best Soprano player of the day award.
Our thanks go to the many well wishers who have made the effort to contact members of the band and our MD to comment on the excellence of the performance.
Well done Parc & Dare (7th) and BTM (8th) the other Welsh Bands who also produced quality performances.
The Band looks forward to pulling out all the stops for the Porthcawl contest. |
