Beautiful weather, an excellent draw (9th out of 11) and all we needed to do was to play our socks off!
The band went on stage with the words of our MD, Ian Porthouse, ringing in our head “just do what you are all capable of and most of all - enjoy yourself”.
With just three weekends to go before the Welsh Regional Championships in Swansea, the Band have given ourselves a timely boost of confidence as we took the South Wales Miners Eisteddfod title at the Grand Pavilion in Porthcawl by a commanding four point margin
