Tredegar return to The Winter Gardens, Blackpool to compete for a promotion to the British Open in October. This years set test piece is Edward Gregson's 'Rococco Variations' which was used as the British Open set work in 2008. The band has come very close to qualifying in its last two appearances at this contest and will be eager to put on a great performance.

Also on the same day is the Senior Trophy and Senior Cup contests, where you can hear an old favourite in Lalo's 'Le Roi d'ys' arranged by Frank Wright and Philip Sparke's 'Year of the Dragon' respectively.

This contest will see the Spring Festival enter into its 90th year.
